Pakho Chau and Miriam Yeung release "The Woman Behind"
30 Jul – Pakho Chau recently revealed that his new song, "The Woman Behind" was inspired by his previous song "The Man Behind".
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared alongside Miriam Yeung to promote the said duet recently, shared that after releasing the previous song back in April, he thought that he should make another song from a woman's perspective.
"Behind every man's success, there is a woman. I wanted to have a song that is written from the viewpoint of a woman," he said.
Miriam, who lend her voice to the single, shared that she is in awe with how beautiful the way the lyrics were written, adding that she is happy to add another number that can be used as a wedding song.
"When I go to weddings, people want me to sing "Small City Big Matters", but I don't think it's a good choice. "Elixir of Love" is a better song [for a wedding], but the tune is not compatible with the times," she said.
To that, Pakho voiced his agreement, saying that people keep asking him to sing "One Hundred Years" at weddings, despite the fact it was a sad song.
On the other hand, when asked about the progress of their upcoming TVB drama, "Wonder Women", the two stars admitted that they have only completed half of the project for now despite two months in production.
