From Oversized Sneakers to New Yeti Boots, Bulky Shoes Dominated Pharrell’s Fall 2025 Louis Vuitton Men’s Collection

Pharrell Williams took his Louis Vuitton men’s footwear to a new dimension for fall/winter 2025.

Indeed, the French brand’s men’s creative director used an oversized volume to make a new shoe statement this season – most notably with the new LV ButterSoft sneaker. First teased last week on social media, the new sneaker draws inspiration from the early 2000s and features a pillow-like, extra-soft leather that frames the sneaker. Unveiled in fifty colorways, its tongue is adorned with the silhouette of Williams’ face profile.

The sneakers are presented in an array of shades that recalls Williams’ Adidas Superstar “Supercolor” collection, which featured 50 different colors. Social media users are also drawing comparisons between the new Louis Vuitton design and Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club Ice Cream Board Flip sneakers from the 2000s, which were issued in visually similar rainbow spreads.

Other shoes to walk Tuesday’s runway take cues from workwear shoes and boots. This includes the new LV Bubble, which is a bulky, blown-up silhouette applied to loafers, derbies, motorcycle boots, lace-up boots and Mary-Janes in black, burgundy or cream leather as well as editions in embossed camo leather and rockabilly two-tone leather.

Other shoe styles include the LV Remix hiking-inspired mountain derby, which features chunky braided laces and technical hooks, crafted in green, pink, blue, burgundy, tan or black leather.

Finally, the LV Yeti makes a statement by splicing together a sheepskin and puffer boot into a padded silhouette on a rubber sole, in sand suede or three bouclé colorways. The style further features as a slipper in sand suede or leopard-print cow hair and as a high-top in mixed suedes, while all versions also appear in all-black suede.

This season is Williams’ fourth major collection for Louis Vuitton men’s following his appointment in 2023. This season, Williams unveiled a new collaboration with his longtime friend Nigo.

The collection they unveiled Tuesday in a mirrored box in a courtyard of the Louvre museum honored that history explicitly, through the circular set modeled after a clothing vault filled with archival designs.
