Ogie Alcasid excited about daughter's first album

The singer-songwriter says he has been helping daughter Leila with her music debut

5 Jul - Singer Ogie Alcasid is excited that his daughter Leila is soon to release her first album.

As reported on ABS-CBN News, the singer-songwriter who spoke to the media about the upcoming release, shared that he has been helping his daughter a lot in writing her own songs, and collaborating with some other talents through Star Music.

"We cooperate with the producer and [singer-songwriter] Marion Aunor in writing some songs. [Leila] is writing some songs as well. That's why she has been busy," he said.

He also revealed that Leila is also taking acting workshops with Star Magic. On the other hand, the starlet, who is Alcasid's daughter with former Miss Australia Michelle van Eimeren, shares that she has been taking Tagalog lessons and practicing it with younger brother, Nate.

She is also enjoying the time spent with dad, Ogie since moving to the Philippines to live with him.
