You know that feeling when you see your ex on Instagram smiling and having fun, and you’re sort of still trying to figure out your new life with them? You might feel the same way looking at Barack and Michelle Obama at the National Gallery this weekend.

The couple was spotted walking out the Gallery to a round of applause as throngs of people gathered to cheer on the former first couple. Michelle was glowing in an all-black ensemble (are those athleisure pants?) but it was President Obama’s “cool dad” brown leather jacket, paired with his standard “regular not-so-cool dad” jeans that really completed their couple look.

If you need a spirit animal for the Tuesday blues, let it be Obama strutting out of a museum in leather.

Both Michelle and Barack smiled and waved to the cheering crowd looking like they didn’t have a care in the world, which actually, is sort of true these days. The Obamas are no longer in charge of solving America’s problems, and you know what? It really looks good on them.

They seemed to be completely unaware that this weekend Obama was accused by Donald Trump of “wiretapping” his phones at Trump Tower last year while he was campaigning. Trump compared the scandal to Watergate, but has since offered no evidence to back up his claims. FBI Director James Comey also denied the claims and asked the Justice Department to refute the president’s story.

Obama’s spokesperson, Kevin Lewis, said in a statement:

“Neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”

Ben Rhodes, who used to be Obama’s national security advisor wasn’t as formal in his denial of the claims. Rhodes addressed Trump on Twitter writing, “No President can order a wiretap. Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you.” Obama’s former staff is obviously not taking the new administration and transition as well as Obama and Michelle are.

Obama’s face this weekend was the face of a man who doesn’t appear to have anything to worry about. If anything, he seems to be pretty psyched about this new job as “man of leisure.” He’s definitely moved on.
