You Can Now Watch Polygon Pictures’ Mini-Series Starring Snorlax and Cubone

First unveiled at the beginning of December, Japanese 3D animation studio, Polygon Pictures has produced a short series starring Snorlax and Cubone from Pokémon.

The short animation series was broadcast on a weekly basis on Project Kabigon’s X, an account that was created by The Pokémon Company using Snorlax’s Japanese name. The first episode aired on December 8 opened with Cubone tearfully mourning over his mother under a glowing full moon. He then discovers that the fungi around him all begin to light up, gradually leading him further into the forest to discover Snorlax as he joyfully gobbles up all the luminescent mushrooms.

Over the course of four episodes, the short animated series tells a heartwarming friendship through wholesome interactions between the laidback Snorlax, and the seemingly-prickly Cubone over the changing season.

The mini-series officially concluded on December 29 with its fourth episode, set in springtime. All four episodes can be watched individually via Project Kabigon’s official X account. Alternatively, you can watch it all in one compiled YouTube video on Pokémon’s official account.
