Norman Hakim pens heartfelt message to daughter Marissa Dania

3 Jul - Norman Hakim couldn't help but get teared up as he reminisced old times with daughter Marissa Dania on her birthday.

The actor recently took to social media to share a video where he showed Marissa all the notes and letters she wrote for him when she was 10 years old, saying that the messages that she sent him were deep and meaningful to him that he still kept the original and a soft copy of it.

"I will never forget the moment I welcomed your birth in the car. I didn't manage to drive your mother to the clinic, you were so eager to come out. I remember the first words that your mother said when you were born. You cried for a bit and then you were quiet, blinking your eyes at us. Your mum said, 'She has Norman Hakim's nose'. Seeing you made me forget how panic I was, made your mum forget how much she was in pain," he wrote.

Wishing Marissa a happy birthday, Norman said that he will love her forever and that only death will do them part.

"I love you, I love Aslam and I love Umisya. And all of my children. We have different challenges in life. My wish for you is for you not to lose hope in Allah. He brought rain and storm in your life to teach you about the importance of gratitude when the rainbow comes. Trust and believe that the time will come," he added.

It is noted that Marissa previously made headlines for eloping and tied the knot in Songkhla, Thailand with now husband Aslam, after their relationship was blasted by netizens as Aslam was already married at the time to wife Umisya. Marissa was 18-years-old then. The parties involved have now mend ties with each other.
