Noel Leung: No more Monica Chan!

22 Dec - Former beauty queen Noel Leung stated that Monica Chan has yet to apologise to her for the previous pink jacket issue, but that she just wants to forget about it.

According to Mingpao News, the former second runner-up of Miss Hong Kong 1990 previously announced that she has decided to leave the Wai Yin Association due to her conflict with Monica last month. The said conflict occurred when Monica scolded Noel in front of everybody for not wearing the association's pink jacket during a photo op during one of the association's event.

When asked about it recently, Noel stated that she hasn't seen Monica since the incident.

"I don't know. I don't want to talk about people and things that make me unhappy. I have a very simple life. I would rather not have complicated things interfering it," she said.

Noel also stated that she doesn't know how Wai Yin would settle such an issue and that she will not pay any attention to it.

On the other hand, the beauty queen stated that she had just received a film script, "White Orchid" (working title) and that she will be staying in Hong Kong next year to support the film and television industry.

China launches amphibious assault ship that can launch fighter jets
