No property purchase for Fan Bingbing as the actress clarifies recent rumours
16 Dec - A few months ago, it was reported that Fan Bingbing is now an owner of a property in Hong Kong.
But now the actress is saying that no such thing has happened.
On 13 December, Fan made an appearance at Hong Kong billionaire Dr. Cecil Chao's Christmas party, where she was seen at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony and toured the family mansion.
She also praised the Chao family home, saying that it was a beautiful place, complete with a sea view and luxurious decorations.
However, when asked if she has bought property in Hong Kong, the actress responded, "No. Hong Kong property prices are too expensive."
Fan also said that she is interested in design and architecture and that the place she currently rents matches her favorite colour. She was reported to be renting a home at The Peak, which has a rent of about HKD 650,000 per month.
On the other hand, the actress, who wrapped up filming the Malaysian movie, "Mother Bhumi" earlier, revealed that she will be flying to Japan early next year to shoot a new movie.
