Nicholas Tse needs more songs to hold a concert
29 Jan – Although he understands how much his fans are longing to see him rocking out at his own concert again, Nicholas Tse stated that he still doesn't have enough new songs to open a big show.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who performed at the KKBOX Music Awards 2018 in Kaohsiung recently, shared that he is currently preparing for his comeback concert, although admitted that he will release a few more songs first before it can finally be realised.
"I will launch four new songs in the near future and see the reception to it first. I want enough songs to sing at a concert. I don't want to just sell nostalgia," he said.
When asked if he would apply to hold his concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum, Nic stated that he would prefer an outdoor venue.
"Fans can enjoy the concert even more that way. It is also easier to arrange if you're performing outdoors. But I have high requirements, so I have to take into account the weather and safety issues as well," he said.
