Trailer: 'Mortdecai' introduces cast of characters

Upper class English art dealer Lord Charlie Mortdecai will find a missing Goya masterpiece for the good of his country -- as long as he's reasonably compensated, of course.

The painting has been snatched and its sale is set to fund no end of terrorist activities, which is reason enough to get Mortdecai involved in a globe-trotting caper to get it back.

Johnny Depp's character Mortdecai is joined by Ewan McGregor as Inspector Martland, Gwyneth Paltrow as his wife and "love of his life," Paul Bettany as muscled manservant Jock and -- upon Charlie's canvas-chasing arrival in the US -- Olivia Munn as Georgina.

A January 23 US release beckons for Lionsgate's comedy, directed by David Koepp of Ricky Gervais drama "Ghost Town" and Joseph Gordon-Levitt bike courier thriller "Ride Like Hell."

Theatrical releases in France, Germany and the UK are due the same week, with Brazil and Argentina, the Netherlands, Russia and New Zealand among international territories included from February 19.
