Kelly Chen's 3rd pregnancy
18 Nov – Hong Kong Cantopop singer and actress Kelly Chen is now three months' pregnant, with this being her third pregnancy, according to Daily Chilli.
Chen, who is married to Alex Lau, first gave birth to Chace, an adorable baby boy, on 10 July in 2009. Following that, she managed to conceive twin daughters last year via artificial insemination, but suffered a miscarriage in March.
It took a while, but eventually Chen moved on from the tragedy, and continued to receive artificial insemination.
Chen, who had just turned 39, wished to add another member to her family before she celebrates her 40th birthday. It looks like her wish is finally coming true when a radiant Chen was seen revealing her baby bump at an event in Hong Kong recently.
Though she has yet to find out the gender of the baby, she denied that she's carrying twins as speculated.
Her family members are thrilled with the news, but her son Chace has yet to find out.
Since her pregnancy, Chen has been taking her doctor's advice to lay low. As of now, the Asian diva has since turned down 30 job offers from China to avoid flying around.
However, Chen clarified that she is not giving up her career.
"I don't want to quit and stay at home. That'd be boring! I've wrapped up my scenes for "Eighth Happiness 2012", but I still need to shoot a couple more advertisements.
