Actor Cha Seung Won & baseball player Kim Tae Gyun made donations for the victims of the ferry sinking accident

Actor Cha Seung Won and baseball player Kim Tae Gyun made donations for the victims of the ferry sinking accident.

On April 22nd, a representative of 'Community Chest of Korea' said, "Actor Cha Seung Won donated 100 million KRW for the victims of the ferry sinking accident."

The representative also said, "Baseball player Kim Tae Gyun of Hanhwa Eagles also donated 50 million KRW."

Kim Tae Gyun became an official member of Honor Society, which is an organization of high-price donators, and he has participated in a great number of different donation and volunteer activities.

Kim Tae Gyun said, "I have been managing a baseball class for teenagers from two years go, and I feel devastated for the young victims. I wanted to make a contribution for the victims and their families."

On April 18th, baseball player Ryu Hyun Jin made a donation, and on April 21st, actresses Ha Ji Won and Jang Mi In Ae made donations.

Meanwhile, the donated money will be used for the families of the victims, and the rescue operations.
