Natalie Tong surprised to win TV Queen
22 Jan – With a tough competition from the likes of Jessica Hsuan, Nina Paw, Nancy Wu, and Ali Lee - Natalie Tong was considered the dark horse to win Best Actress at the TVB Anniversary Awards.
Which is why the actress was shocked when she was named TV Queen for her role in "My Unfair Lady".
As reported on Singtao Daily, the actress, who looked stunning in white at the event held on 21 January, gathered herself as she thanked her co-stars Vincent Wong and Jessica Hsuan, the production team, as well as her fans for their support.
She also thanked good friend Kristal Tin, saying, "She taught me how to be a good actress, a good person, and was there for me."
Natalie also dedicated her win to her late mother in her speech.
In an interview after the win, Natalie said that she will always regard her co-star Jessica Hsuan as the best actress in her heart.
The actress also admitted that she was so surprised that she forgot to thank a lot of people, including ex-boyfriend Tony Hung.
When asked if the two of them will rekindle their romance, Natalie stated that it's a different thing altogether, and that she will let fate decide.
