Natalie Tong launches her own dessert shop
22 Aug - Natalie Tong recently fulfilled one of her dreams - launching her first bakery, Petite Merveille.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared Causeway Bay for the opening of the said dessert shop, shared that she invested a seven digit sum along her friends to start the business, which is already a famous bakery in Hokkaido, Japan.
"I went to Japan for two weeks to learn more about the cake-making process," she enthused. "I designed the cake box and will also design cake decorations for special occasions like Christmas and Valentine's Day."
When asked if she will make good friend Priscilla Wong a cake for her wedding in the future, Natalie stated that she would be happy to do it for her.
Natalie also added that she has plans to send cake to all friends who congratulated her for the opening of the bakery, including ex-boyfriend Tony Hung.
As for plans to start a business with fellow actor Vincent Wong, Natalie stated that they are taking things slowly.
"We will take time to prepare. There is no need to rush things," she said.
