Natalie Tong doesn't want to date a celebrity
31 Oct– TVB actress Natalie Tong may not be dating anybody right now, but the actress is certain about one thing - she will never date a celebrity again.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at a fashion event recently, stated that a lot of people think she currently has a pursuer, even though there is no truth to it.
"I am still single. But I am not worried about that. I will wait for love to come slowly. It is best to date someone outside showbiz," she said.
Asked why she would rather not date another celebrity, Natalie, who was previously in a relationship with actors like Amigo Chui and Tony Hung and has been linked to Kenneth Ma, stated that the pressure is greater when one is dating a showbiz figure.
"I want to keep a low profile. It's difficult to do so with someone in the circle. It takes a lot of effort to maintain your relationship," she said.
Asked if her friends are helping her with finding a potential suitor, Natalie joked, "They have to pass Priscilla Wong first. She will help me filter them. She is very strict and has very high standard. I trust her."
