Natalie Tong has a different dynamic with Vincent Wong in new drama
10 Oct – Although they are playing a couple again in the new series, "The Man Who Kills Troubles" (previously reported as "Solutionist"), Natalie Tong revealed that she will not have a lot of intimate scenes with Vincent Wong this time around.
As reported on Mingpao, Natalie, who was previously lauded for her performance as Vincent's love interest in the 2016 series, "My Unfair Lady", stated that her relationship with the actor's character in the new drama is much more complicated than the previous series.
"The dynamic between our characters doesn't allow us to be chummy with each other. It's very hard for them to be together," said the actress, who plays a music teacher whose family is involved in a triad.
She also revealed that there were several changes they made when it comes to collaborating in the said drama, since their character would hate each other in the beginning of the series.
"I told Vincent, 'let's not talk to each other'. Once I got to the film set, I didn't speak to him at all," she said.
The upcoming drama will be taking the slot left by the Joel Chan-starrer "Barrack O'Karma", which will air its final episode on 14 October.
