Natalie Tong admits challenge of filming in hot summer

15 Jul – Natalie Tong recently admitted that filming her new series, "Super Emissary" is extra tough because of the hot weather.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke to the media about the new drama, stated that she has started working daily recently both in the TVB Factory and outside locations, but that the hardest part is facing the summer weather and trying to avoid getting heatstroke.

"I have been drinking a lot of water. I drink warm water mostly, because I can't handle iced water. I feel that my resistance is very weak. The body is very weak. Sometimes I can't focus and people's words sound inaudible to me," she said.

Natalie stated that the latest instance was the night before, when she felt dizzy while filming a scene with Ruco Chan and had to rest for three hours.

As to how long would she be filming the drama, the actress said that production will continue until August, in which she hopes to take a short break from work to get some rest.

"I recently received some money from the government cash distribution plan. I think I will use it to buy chicken essence and supplements," she said in jest.
