Nancy Wu opens up about romance
8 Mar – Nancy Wu recently admitted that being too rational could be the reason as to why she is still single at the age of 40.
The actress, who sat down for an interview on Sharon Chan's YouTube channel, revealed that she is not the kind of person who trusts easily, which prompted Sharon to ask if she was cheated in the past.
After a few moments of silence, Nancy laughed and said that there is no such thing as getting cheated or not.
"I am 40 years old, and of course I have romantic history. I want to be grateful for all these experiences as I am able to understand myself better, know what I want and need," she said.
The actress added that while she is happy that her best friends, including Myolie Wu and Paisley Hu, have happy marriages, it is not so easy for her to find someone whom she would entrust for life, share common ideas with and with whom she wants to start a family with.
"Liking that person and spending the rest of your life with that person are two different things," she said.
It is noted that Nancy, who has dated Deep Ng and Kenneth Ma in the past, was last known to be in a relationship with music producer Terry Chan. She was also romantically linked to Ruco Chan, though the romance rumour ended when the actor was spotted on a date with Miss Hong Kong alumna, Phoebe Sin, whom he later married.
