Nana Mahazan reminded of bitter reality show past at Misha Omar's concert
27 Dec - Nana Mahazan couldn't help but cry at Misha Omar's recent showcase, just as the singer performed the song "Halaman Cinta".
The Akademi Fantasia alumna recently shared a video of her and good friend Fara Fauzana watching Misha in action, and revealed that she was sobbing as soon as the singer began performing the song.
"Actually, the memory moved me. This song brings me a lot of nostalgia. It strengthens a certain Nana Mahazan, teaching me that I am capable of enduring things I didn't know I could," she said.
"The same song that made half of the population hate me, and praise be to God, some accepted. Praise be to God for all the feelings," she added.
It is noted that Nana found herself getting a lot of hate 21 years ago when she performed the song in an episode of the "Akademi Fantasia" reality competition show.
One of the people who admitted to have loathed Nana at the time was Fara Fauzana herself, who is now one of her best friends and the one who was with her at the Misha Omar showcase.
Misha Omar herself took to the comments, saying, "Nana Mahazan whom I knew is not afraid of insults and will not fly with praises. She's one of a kind. She has her own motivation to keep standing. And I love you for that!"
