Nadhir Nasar says no to on-set romance

10 Nov - Although he seems to be very cosy with leading lady Qasrina Karim in his new drama, "My Famous Ex-Boyfriend", Nadhir Nasar has dismissed the idea that they are dating in real life.

The actor, who spoke about his close friendship with Qasrina, stated that a good actor should only "borrow" the feelings and emotions for the character, and leave it outside the shooting set.

"As an actor, I will be paired up with different actresses. If I opened up my heart to each and every one of them, wouldn't it be a problem?" he said, during the media conference for the series.

Stating that he is someone who gets along easily, Nadhir revealed that he and Qasrina have worked together before in a campaign for Astro, and that it was easy for them to recreate that chemistry.

"Qasrina is very open and positive, and she is always learning. It made it comfortable for me to work with her," he added.

As for his own personal relationship, the former Hero Remaja stated that he would rather keep it on the down low.

"For me, it is my right as a person, even if others want to know about it," he added.

Meanwhile, the said Astro Megadrama, produced by iFabulous Art Media & Event (iFame) and adapted from the Alaf 21 novel "Petrichor" by Nurul Syahida, has been trending on social media for 11 episodes in a row since its broadcast on 23 October.
