Nadhir Nasar not afraid of losing brand deals

19 Oct – Nadhir Nasar is not at all worried of losing jobs with international brands if it means that he can express loudly and proudly his support for the Palestinians.

The 27-year-old actor, who was asked about his many social media posts about the Israel-Palestine conflict during his recent appearance at the media event of his new drama, "My Famous Ex-Boyfriend", stated that losing endorsement deals is just a temporary thing.

"How long can they ban you for? As a celebrity, I have the platform and the influence. There is no need to be afraid of losing a source of income as such a thing comes from Allah anyway," he said.

Nadhir stated that voicing out his support and sharing information about the situation in Gaza is the best thing he can do now to show his support for his Muslim brothers.

"Maybe it's because our own country was colonised in the past, which made me more motivated to express my opinion," he added.

But at the same time, the actor stressed that netizens should not quick to judge those who have reservations about expressing their sentiments, as it's a personal choice.
