Na Ying withdraws from Spring Wave Shanghai

24 Aug – Amid the bullying controversy surrounding "Sing! China", it was reported that Na Ying has recently withdrawn from the upcoming music festival, Spring Wave Shanghai.

In a statement released by the organiser, it is said that the singer has made the decision to remove herself from joining the event again this year due to her poor health.

"After many communications, we accepted Na Ying's withdrawal with much reluctance and regret. We all look forward to her speedy recovery," it added.

The organiser also expressed hope that they will be able to work with the songstress again in the future.

Earlier, amid allegations and claims that the "Sing! China" team was bullying Coco during her stint as one of the mentors, a claim was made by first season contestant Xu Haixing that she was forced into signing an unfair contract by the show's artistic director as well as Na Xin, who is the sister of Na Ying.

Na Xin had since denied it, saying that she is not associated with the show anymore.
