Myolie Wu seeking for a different direction in career

16 Oct – Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu recently made her first appearance since announcing her departure from Stephen Shiu Jr.'s management company HMV Digital China.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who attended a press conference for the movie, "Dearest Anita" to commemorate the 15th year of Anita Mui's passing, said that the contract has actually ended back in the middle of August.

"It wasn't the right time to announce it, so we waited a bit. Stephen and I had a great cooperation. But now my career and personal life are different than before, so I am currently looking for a new direction," she said.

When asked if she has plans to establish her own management company, Myolie responded, "If there is any development, I will announce it myself."

The actress signed with HMV Digital China back in 2015 following her departure from TVB.
