Muaz Zabir denies trying to wreck Bella Astillah-Aliff Aziz's marriage
8 Apr – Muaz Zabir recently admitted that it was a mistake for him to get involved in the marriage turmoil between Bella Astillah and estranged husband Aliff Aziz last year.
The actor, who finally broke his silence regarding his alleged romance with the singer-actress, said that Bella was not wrong in what she said in the previous interview she held following the leak of their WhatsApp messages to each other.
"This issue has already been resolved last year. We have received agreement from both Aliff and Bella's families to move on from what had happened," he said.
Muaz said that his initial intention was only to help Bella, who wanted to make her husband jealous after finding out that Aliff had been cheating on her.
"It wasn't in my intention to wreck a marriage. It was a mistake. I can't prevent what people think of us. It is their right, after the mistake that I made. But I have learned from it and will not run away. I am sorry to my family and also to Bella's. Please pray that I can improve myself," he said.
Messages between Bella and Muaz that were deemed romantic were recently leaked by a TikTok user to hint that it was Bella who cheated on Aliff first, and not the other way around.
The leak prompted Bella to hold a press conference to defend herself and reveal everything about her marriage with Aliff, including his many alleged infidelities and his plan to divorce her prior to getting caught for khalwat with Ruhainies.
