One mother is gaining attention for the dress she wore to her daughter's wedding.
On Saturday, June 1, Lori Dewitt donned a green floral dress at her daughter Amanda LeBlanc's wedding held at Hotel Peter and Paul in New Orleans. Dewitt discovered the dress at Flora Bridal on Madison Avenue in New York City, courtesy of a friend in the industry who connected her with workers at the store.
"Amanda and Amelia, another of my daughters, were with me when I found the dress! Amanda loved it," Dewitt shares exclusively with PEOPLE.
"I felt absolutely beautiful in the dress, and our entire family adored it," she adds.

Following the wedding, Chloe LeBlanc, the couple's wedding content creator, posted a TikTok video of Dewitt walking down the aisle in the gown, captioning it, "The most stunning MOB dress we've ever seen!!!!"
Since then, the TikTok has gone viral, amassing over 1.6 million views, with many comments expressing concern that Dewitt was upstaging her daughter on her wedding day.
"Don't get me wrong, she does look stunning in that dress, but it's a bit much on a day where her daughter should've been the star of the show," one person wrote in the video's comments.
However, Dewitt shares she has "no regrets" about wearing this dress, and despite the negative comments on the post, many people also agree with her outfit choice.
"Finally! A MOB dress that is NOT DOWDY," one person commented. "Love this for both of them."
"I've never seen a MOB dress I like until now. Absolutely stunning," someone else wrote.
Now, looking back on this experience Dewitt says she encourages mothers of the bride to find a dress that leaves them feeling beautiful and confident.
"It was an amazing weekend all around — everything was perfect! Amanda and Andrew truly had the best and most special wedding week," Dewitt says.
