Claire Yiu and Thomas Lam called it quits on marriage
19 Jun - Claire Yiu recently admitted that she and husband Thomas Lam have called it quits on their marriage after 18 years together.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the TVB actress confirmed the news, saying that the two of them have gone their separate ways though will raise their children together.
As for the reason for their divorce, Claire said that it was a private matter and that many colleagues of hers already knew that they were no longer together.
Meanwhile, Thomas revealed that they have actually been separated for a while now, but still maintained a good relationship.
When asked why, he said, "I don't want to talk about personal things. There is nothing that a couple can do if they can't get along. The most important thing is to look forward."
The TVB actress and former ATV actor tied the knot in 2006 and have two children together.
