Moon Lau doesn't think she should win Best Actress
3 Dec – Nominated for the first time in the Best Actress category at the TVB Anniversary Awards, Moon Lau acknowledged the fact that it is too soon for her to win the said award.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who was nominated for her role in "Wife Interrupted", said that being nominated is already the biggest reward for her, and that she will not foster any hope of winning it.
"I still need to improve my acting. I will work hard to give my best no matter what character TVB gives me," she said.
As to whether she is more confident about winning Most Popular Female TV Character through her role in the said drama, Moon stated that it would be better if the audience just enjoy the show.
"I am happy for the nomination, but it is more important that people like the drama," she said.
Moon will be facing tough competitions from many of her seniors, including former winner Nancy Wu, fan favourite Alice Chan, and Malaysia and Singapore's pick, Mandy Wong.
