MIRROR's Keung To denies rumours of group disbandment

5 Aug – MIRROR member Keung To has recently dismissed rumours that they are disbanding in light of the recent tragedy.

As reported on Mingpao, rumours of the group's disbandment sparked after the 12 members were seen attending a meeting with MakerVille at the PCCW headquarters in Kowloon Bay.

It is noted that the group has signed a five-year contract with ViuTV when they became a group in 2018, meaning that they have one more year before renegotiation.

However, with the recent tragic accident, in which a giant hanging video screen fell on the stage and injured some of the dancers, many believed that some members would be too traumatised to continue.

However, following the said meeting, on 4 August, member Keung To took to Instagram Story to dismiss the notion of them separating, writing, "We will not give up. We will not give up. We will definitely stand up and face everything together.

Prior to Keung's statement, leader Lokman Yeung had posted his own message online which read, ""We will look after ourselves, don't worry. We will provide time and space for the injured and their families."
