Ming Dao says no 183 Club comeback for now

22 Nov – Taiwanese singer-actor Ming Dao recently dismissed rumours of a 183 Club comeback, following a recent viral photo of the group members having a meal together.

As reported on Sina, the actor, who appeared at a brand launch recently shared that the photo showed them having a simple meal and nothing more.

"The members meet up at least once a year, but that day was one of those rare occasions where everybody came," he said.

When asked whether there is a possibility for them to reunite and release a new song, Ming Dao said that they have yet to plan anything.

"If there's any good news, I'm sure you will hear it from the members' social media accounts," he added.

At the moment, only Ming Dao, Sam Wang, and Ehlo Huang remain members of the group, which was established in 2004. On the other hand, Jacky Chang and Johnny Yen have moved on with their own solo projects.
