Mimi Kung confirms divorce from Lin Wei
6 Sep – Hong Kong actress Mimi Kung has nothing much to say when it comes to news that she and Chinese actor Lin Wei have been divorced for two years.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress recently confirmed the news through her manager Elaine, saying, "Thank you for your concern. Lin Wei and Mimi Kung have already separated. It was a low-key divorce procedure."
Elaine stated that the two actors decided to call it quits on their marriage due to irreconcilable differences.
"They both live in two different places for a long time. Different locations and lifestyles made both sides feel that they need their own space. The children also understood and respected their decisions," she added.
As for news of Lin's new romance with businesswoman Liu Zhuo-mei, the manager stated, "Mimi sincerely wishes happiness for Lin Wei."
