Mimi Ernida and Reen Rahim admit fans are often confused between the two of them
21 Jan - Despite what everybody assumed, Mimi Ernida said that she and fellow actress Reen Rahim are not related at all despite looking quite similar to each other.
The actress, who recently had a photoshoot with Reen for the She Rise campaign, said that she is already used to having people making the mistake of thinking she was the "Town Mall" actress.
"Even when I do my TikTok Live streams, people would greet me as Reen Rahim. Sometimes they tease us and call us twins. Maybe it was because we look alike that we became good friends," she added.
On the other hand, Reen admitted that people kept mistaking the two of them, which made their friendship a unique one.
"In truth, we are quite different. Maybe we have similar features but Mimi has a lighter skin tone than me. She is sweeter while I am more bitter," she joked.
Speaking about the campaign, Reen and Mimi said that it combines the CYoung Glowing brand, a multi-benefit beauty product from Mimi, and Qu' Yus Premium Coffee, an organic product to help control appetite that Reen developed herself.
"Since we are both currently dabbling in business, we want to help women out there to generate income together. We may be two different individuals, but our desires and mission are the same, especially in helping many people, particularly women," she said.
