Michael Miu not angry at Fred Cheng
23 Aug - Hong Kong actor Michael Miu has denied rumours saying that he was unhappy with rumours about a supposed romance between his 25-year-old daughter Phoebe Miu and singer Fred Cheng.
As reported on On CC, the actor spoke to the media recently and clarified previous reports, which stated that he doesn't know Fred that well and was unhappy with the rumours.
"To say that I do not know him is completely wrong. Of course I know Fred. I worked with him, although at the time he had yet to join the singing competition. I appreciate his effort," said Michael.
The actor repeated Fred's recent statement, saying, "As he said before, they only just met. They just share a mutual friend."
As to whether he is angry with the rumours, Michael responded, "Definitely not. Phoebe has already clarified the situation."
