The actress showcases directing talent through the music video for "Swept Away"

4 Apr - Actress Meryll Soriano recently made her directorial debut through the music video for "Swept Away".

As reported on Chisms, the actress, who won Best Actress at the Metro Manila Film Festival last year for "Honor Thy Father", recently posted a photo of herself on the director's seat, and expressed gratitude to those who helped her achieve her dream.

"This marks a milestone," she wrote. "I am eternally grateful to the people who have helped me today. The whole production, crew, my saviour JP, our friends Marvin, Andrei and Fafi, my love Ricci, my dearest Carlo, Marc and my Baby Girl."

"It gives me so much delight and filled my heart. Thank you very very much," she added.

No further information has been released about the music video project, except that it was for Alessandra de Rossi's new single, and features Kjwan lead singer, Marc Abaya.
