Meng Ziyi denies romance rumour

27 Sep – Chinese actress Meng Ziyi has recently dismissed rumours that she is currently in a relationship.

As reported on Phoenix, rumours of romance concerning the "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" star sparked on 23 September, when she was photographed walking home with a mysterious man.

Sources claimed that Meng went to have dinner with the said man, and left the restaurant with him soon after. They were also said to be holding hands from time to time.

The actress had since denied her love affair on social media.

A day later she clarified that the person seen with her was just a good friend, writing in jest on Weibo, "I heard that my good friend has suddenly become my boyfriend."
