A-Mei brings world tour to more countries

14 Dec - A-Mei recently announced that she will be extending her concert tour to several other locations next year.

On 12 December, the Taiwanese singer shared the good news with a poster of her new tour called "A-Mei ASMR World Tour", revealing that it will be returning to Kaohsiung in April.

Among other locations that the singer will perform include London and Paris in June, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney in July, and Hong Kong in October.

However, A-Mei assured that there will be more locations to be announced soon, writing, "And more..."

Previously, the singer performed her tour around the US, with concert stops that include Chicago and Washington DC. She will be performing in Las Vegas on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Her last world tour was "Utopia", which was launched in 2017.

Anger mounts over China's response to deadly car attack
STORY: China's government faced mounting anger Wednesday over its handling of the deadly car attack there earlier in the week - and appeared to be taking steps to limit news of the incident. On Monday, a man drove into a crowd at a sports center, killing 35 and injuring 43. But the government took nearly a day to announce the death toll, and the incident has been little reported by state media. Some online posts criticising the government's response, or questioning what the attack means for Chinese society, were rapidly removed by authorities.Candles and flowers that had been laid at the scene on Tuesday evening at the sports center's west gate later disappeared.A Reuters reporter on the scene said they were removed overnight.
