Meghan Markle Greeted the King of Morocco with a Curtsy
Meghan Markle's curtsy to the King of Morocco was caught on video.
The gesture kicked off a meeting between the Moroccan royal family and the British Duke and Duchess.
Meghan Markle proved once again in Morocco that she's really getting the hang of this whole royal thing. At the beginning of a visit to King Mohammed VI's palace, Meghan dutifully curtsied to the King.
Royal fan account @harry_meghan_updates posted a video of the exchange, in which Meghan takes a quick, respectful dip downward as the King approaches her. Watch it here.
At the audience, Meghan also dressed to impress. The Duchess looked radiant in a bright blue printed dress from Carolina Herrera, which she paired with nude heels, a small clutch. She finished off the look with her hair in a tight bun.
According to The Sun, Meghan and Prince Harry exchanged niceties with the King during their visit. Harry told the monarch that he'd like to come back with their baby-and as Meghan's only a month or two away from her due date, that could be fairly soon.
The King apparently liked the idea, saying, "I hope to cook for you next time." Meghan quickly followed with, "The whole family next time."
And yet, this royal meeting might have never happened. When Harry and Meghan's itinerary for Morocco was first released, there was no mention of meeting with the King, as reporter Brittani Barger pointed out. It's possible that this has something to do with King Mohammed VI's wife, Princess Lalla Salma, who has not been seen in public for some time. It's rumored that the two have divorced, but nothing has been confirmed.
