Marshawn Lynch: High school, Cal highlights
After 127 regular season games, 2,144 carries, 74 touchdowns and one Super Bowl ring, Marshawn Lynch retired from the NFL at the end of the 2015 season. Eventually, Beast Mode played three years for California, tallying 3,230 rushing yards on 490 carries. (That’s an average of 6.6 yards per attempt.) Lynch also scored 35 touchdowns from scrimmage. If that wasn’t enough, he also put in work on special teams. Lynch averaged 22.5 yards on kick returns as well.
By the time his junior year was done, it was clear that Marshawn Lynch was destined to be one of the best tailbacks to ever play the game.
