Are Alyssa and Duncan from MAFS Australia still together?
It’s probably no surprise that we can’t get enough of the latest season of Married At First Sight Australia, and there's one couple in particular that we're wondering if they're still together: Alyssa and Duncan.
The dating reality series is already in its tenth season and there’s just as much drama as ever, as we watch singletons be matched up by experts, with the couple only meeting for the very first time on their wedding day.
Originally, Alyssa Barmonde and Duncan James (no, not the one from Blue) looked like they might go the distance, but as the episodes progressed, a few instances – such as the retreat – had viewers wondering if they had what it takes to make the relationship work in the long term. So, are Alyssa and Duncan still together?

Are Duncan and Alyssa still together on MAFSA?
While Duncan and Alyssa's relationship looked promising during their time in the experiment, things took a turn during Retreat Week when Alyssa accused Duncan of not spending enough time with her. She said: "Since we’ve been here, you’ve literally just been with the boys. Like I literally haven’t spoken to you or nothing, all day." She added that she wanted attention from him and wanted him to be checking in on her throughout the day.
Duncan appeared apologetic and said he thought Alyssa wanted to spend more time with the girls during the retreat, saying: "I thought you wanted to spend more time with the girls. If I read that wrong you know that’s on me. I’m sorry if you feel like that."
During Feedback Week, Duncan then said he felt 'shut out' by Alyssa and claimed Alyssa focused too much on the negative, to which she explained she was anxious he would "cut and run" when the real word became too difficult.
Eventually, it was Duncan who opted to end their relationship during the final vow ceremony, admitting he felt like he was "treading on egg shells" around her, adding that he felt 'rejected' by his own marriage. Alyssa, meanwhile, wanted to make things work.
Who else has Duncan from MAFS Australia been linked to?
Duncan and Alyssa have not been seen or photographed together since the show ended in December of last year, despite both of them living on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Duncan was later photographed holding hands with a former MAFS contestant from the previous season, Carolina Santos. Carolina played it down when speaking to Yahoo! in March 2023, saying, “we ended up going to this gay bar on Oxford Street and it was such a vibe, really loud music, and we ran into Duncan.
“It was kind of a club so it was really hard to hear each other and we obviously had to speak into each other's ears. There's nothing really more to it,” she continued.
Carolina admitted that they "might have messaged here and there afterwards" but was clear that she hadn’t “spoken to him in over two months.”
Duncan was also linked to Evelyn from his series, after the pair sparked dating rumours thanks to pics of them dancing at a club together in Sydney. But Evelyn told Daily Mail Australia they are “just friends” and had enjoyed a fun night out together, but it was nothing more.
