Mark Chao unveils wax figure at Madame Tussauds Shanghai
8 May – Taiwanese actor Mark Chao has recently launched his first wax figure at the Madame Tussauds Shanghai.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actor who attended the unveiling ceremony in Huangpu on 4 May, shared that he was bringing a special guest with him at the event, causing fans to scream his wife Gao Yuanyuan's name.
"How is that possible!" he responded with a laugh, and then revealed that he actually brought a toy dog to the event.
"This is my brother," he said.
During a Q&A session on stage at the event, Mark was asked to share his thoughts on which drama or movie can be considered his best work, to which he responded, "Each and every one of them is like my own child. I can't choose."
He added that his personal life is relatively low-key and that the only way he expresses himself is through his movies.
"Thus, I am thankful to the fans for giving me a lot of encouragement, and also for letting me be myself," he added.
When asked how his fans should interact with his wax figure, Mark joked that they should be tender and careful since the process of making the wax figure was not an easy feat to achieve.
