Mariko Shinoda to remarry in spring 2025?

3 Jan - It was reported that former AKB48 member Mariko Shinoda is set to tie the knot for the second time in 2025.

Japanese news outlets reported that the 38-year-old actress will be marrying Koji Asano, the CEO of Knowledge Work, Inc - a company that provides cloud services for businesses.

According to multiple sources, it will also be a second marriage for Asano, and that he has begun to share news of their upcoming marriage to acquaintances after six months of dating.

It was also said that the couple may tie the knot as early as spring, after the actress' birthday.

Mariko was previously married in 2019 to her non-showbiz boyfriend, and gave birth to her daughter in 2020. However, the two ended the marriage in March 2023.

Last September, she shared on Instagram, "I am currently dating a man. He is a man I respect very much, and he takes good care of me and my daughter."
