Mallet London Transforms Its Neptune Sneaker Into the 3D-Printed Nebula Shoe With Help From Zellerfeld
Mallet has teamed up with 3D-printed footwear company Zellerfeld on the launch of a new shoe.
Dubbed the Nebula, the new shoe is Mallet’s first foray into 3D printing and is considered the next chapter of its signature Neptune silhouette. Launching in four distinct colorways – black, red, orange and oat – each shoe is engineered for custom-fit comfort, the company noted.

The Nebula’s architectural design is inspired by London’s Gherkin skyscraper, featuring fluid curves and a bold, sculptural aesthetic. Originally launched in 2023 as the Neptune, the silhouette has become a staple of Mallet’s collection, now reimagined using Zellerfeld’s fully automated 3D-printing process. Each pair is printed as a seamless, single-piece structure, eliminating the need for glue, stitching, or excess materials—ushering in a new era of fully recyclable footwear.
“The potential for 3D printing in the footwear industry is endless, and we’re thrilled to be working with Zellerfeld to bring this vision to life,” Evren Ozka, founder of Mallet London, said in a statement. “Their expertise in 3D-printed footwear creation, creating custom-fit shoes that are as stylish as they are functional is exactly what we needed for this collaboration.”
Cornelius Schmitt, chief executive officer of Zellerfeld, added that Mallet “represents the next wave of forward-thinking brands” that are joining the company’s platform to shape the future of footwear.
“With Zellerfeld, they can break free from the limitations of traditional footwear production and unleash completely new ideas. The Nebula is just the beginning,” Schmitt said. “With Zellerfeld, the old rules of footwear no longer apply. Brands can move faster, create more radical designs, and bring products to market in ways that were never possible before. Mallet is joining an ecosystem of pioneers who are shaping the future of how shoes are made, sold, and experienced.”
This launch comes at a pivotal moment for Zellerfeld, as the platform continues to expand its roster of leading brands, creators and innovators. Over the past year, Zellerfeld has collaborated with Nike, Louis Vuitton, KidSuper, Moncler, Rains, Cro and Pangaia.
The Mallet x Zellerfeld Nebula shoe, which retails for $229, is now available exclusively on Zellerfeld.com.
