Makeup Artist Charlotte Tilbury Just Received a Huge Honor From the Queen
The Royals have been rumored fans of Charlotte Tilbury beauty products for a while at this point, and now we finally have that confirmation that they love a Matte Revolution Lipstick just as much as we do.
Legendary makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury — the woman who developed cult-classic products like Magic Cream and Wonder Glow — was honored by the Queen herself with an MBE. For those not up to speed on Royal abbreviations, that stands for Member of the Order of the British Empire. It's an honor that the Queen gives to individuals who have accomplished a specific achievement.

Tilbury's achievements in her art are seemingly endless. She's the pro that celebrities like Amal Clooney and Nicole Kidman turn to before a red carpet. She launched a namesake cosmetics and skincare collection filled with beauty products that give skin an instant soft-focus glow. Not to mention, she created one of the most famous (and comfortable) matte lipstick lines out there.

The makeup artist was made aware that she'd be receiving the honor back in June and expressed her gratitude on her site with a heartfelt message, stating it was truly a "dream come true."
Considering Charlotte Tilbury named a lipstick after the Queen herself (and also the Duchess of Cambridge, BTW), receiving this impressive Royal honor was only a matter of time.
Congrats, CT!
