Maggie Shiu too busy to attend drama promotions

27 Jul - Maggie Shiu, who recently made her comeback through the new TVB drama "Between Love & Desire" alongside Moses Chan, revealed that she will be busy for the rest of the year.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress attended a promotional event for the drama for the first time recently and admitted that she has been having problem trying to attend all the events due to her hectic schedule.

"Yes, I was absent a lot. But I have been very busy with other things before and after the drama came out. I am currently filming a new drama in Shanghai and preparing myself for a stage play," said Maggie.

In addition to her already hectic schedule, Maggie revealed that she is also in the process of discussing a new drama with TVB.

In "Between Love & Desire", Maggie plays a wife who finds herself grew closer to another man while her husband was busy chasing after power and fame.

A grand jury in Massachusetts has indicted a doctor who is accused of sexually assaulting more than 200 former patients over a period of more than a decade. The patients sued Dr. Derrick Todd, who has been accused of performing unnecessary pelvic floor therapy, breast examinations, testicular examinations and other unwarranted procedures on patients dating back to 2010. The Middlesex District Attorney's Office said in a statement Thursday that Todd was indicted earlier that day for “two counts of rape alleging the sexual assault of two women.”
