MAFS Australia viewers are making the same joke about Cam and Lyndall's homestay

Married At First Sight Australia is already in its penultimate week and we really aren't ready to see the end of the series. Thankfully, homestay week is providing us with a much needed dose of drama and some occasional funny moments, as the couples head back to their hometowns to show their partners where they're from.

The first episode of homestays week kicked off last night (25th April) and saw Evelyn and Rupert have a cheeky paint date, Alyssa introduce Duncan to her friends and Cameron taking Lyndall home to Darwin.

The visit to Cameron's home in the territory started off relatively well with the couple picking up Cam's dog and Cam giving Lyndall a tour of his home.

The next day the couple headed towards a local lake to hang out with Cam's friends and kiss a few fish, yes really. However, whilst Lyndall was getting plenty of kisses from the fish she was missing some affection from Cam.

The pair spoke about their opposing views on affection away from the group and when they returned things were slightly awkward between the pair.

As the evening drew to a close one of Cam's friends, Luke, asked the couple how things were going with their relationship. Given the pair had just had an argument, it probably wasn't Luke best timing, as Cam and Lyndall then proceeded to have another emotional discussion

Whilst it was really sad to watch Cam and Lyndall not get on, viewers were in hysterics over Luke. He seemed very awkward stuck in the middle of the pair and looked as if he just wanted to disappear, possibly regretting that he asked the question in the first place.

Since his awkward moment, viewers have been joking about the scene sharing hilarious memes of Luke.

One person shared a clip of Homer Simpson disappearing into a bush captioning it: "Cam’s mate."

Another joked: "Cam’s mate is hating life stuck between Cam and Lyndall’s argument."

And another shared a clip of Spongebob wanting to leave the room, captioning it: "Cam’s friend 😂😂."

Well, at least we can always rely on a meme to lighten the situation.
