M&M’s Is Finally Bringing Back This Discontinued Flavor After 9 Years
We had to wait nearly a decade, but Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M's are finally coming back!
The Instagram account @candyhunting confirmed that the returning fan-favorite flavor will have a peanut butter filling, and is "expected to launch soon."
It's worth noting that these M&M's aren't exactly like the Strawberry & Peanut Butter ones that first stole our hearts back in 2009. Instead, the candies will ditch the strawberry for a more traditional PB&J flavor.
Given that the Strawberry & Peanut Butter M&M's were discontinued back in 2015, fans are pretty excited about the long-awaited return of the PB&J flavor.
"Finally!🔥 I've dreamt of this flavor for a real long time. Dreams do come true!" read one comment on @candyhunting's post.
"LFG! I’ve been wanting something like these ever since I discovered the Strawberried Peanut Butter ones used to exist back in the day," another fan added.
One person even suggested that a particular peanut butter-centric candy step their game up.
"Really hoping that @reeses is taking notes," they said.
Others chimed in, writing, "M&Ms really made a pb&j candy first before Reese’s did."
Unfortunately, there aren't any details yet on when exactly the Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M's will be released or how you'll be able to get your hands on a pack. The candies will reportedly make their debut at the NACS Show (a convenience store trade show) in October.
