Love Island bombshell Scott dated this former Islander
We're nearly two weeks into this season of Love Island, and we are obsessed. From Whitney's one liners, to the endless challenges, we are firmly glued to our TV screens from 9pm. And last night saw the entrance of the latest bombshell Scott van-der-Sluis.
Scott made quite an entrance taking fan favourite Jess on a romantic date and is sure to cause quite a stir in the villa. But apart from taking a liking to Jess, what else do we know about the latest bombshell?

Scott is 22 years old
Newest bombshell Scott van-der-Sluis is 22 years old and is from Connah’s Quay in North Wales.
He's a footballer
Before entering the Love Island villa Scott was a goalkeeper for the League of Ireland club Shelbourne.
However, the manager of Shelbourne Damien Duff confirmed Scott is no longer part of the team after he left to appear on the series.
"I was shocked and saddened that Scott chose a villa in Mallorca full of beautiful, single women over myself, the staff and the players," Duff said. "I thank Scott for his services to Shelbourne FC and we all wish him the very best for the future, whatever that holds."
Scott is the youngest goalkeeper to ever play for the Welsh national team and said his claim to fame was being invited to play with the first team at age 16.
Scott has reportedly dated a former Islander
Whilst this may be his first time in the Love Island villa, it's not his first experience with an Islander as he's reportedly dated season eight cast member Paige Thorne.
The pair are said to have dated for a few months in 2020, after meeting on a night out.
A source told The Sun: "It wasn’t serious with Paige and Scott but they had a great few months together. They met out on the party scene as Paige knows lots of footballers."
He's been single for three years
Scott said he's heading into the villa as his football career has stopped him dating and he's been single for the last three years.
"Football is all I’ve ever done, all I’ve ever known. So this is a new and exciting opportunity for a change up in life," Scott said. "I’ve been single for three and a half years so it’s been a while so I’m ready and open to anything!"
Being clingy gives him the ick
Warning to girls in the villa, the one way to put Scott off is by being too clingy too early on.
He said his biggest ick is: "Someone who gets too clingy too quickly. I don’t like too many calls and too many texts."
He's also not a fan of Nike Air Force 1 trainers or patchy fake tan. Well that takes us out of the running then.
