Love Is Blind's Paul addresses rumour he cheated on Micah with her friend
If you've been anyway near Love Is Blind TikTok over the weekend, then you may have seen a video or two in which fans suggested Paul Peden had cheated on his former fiancé Micah Lussier with one of her bridesmaids.
The clip that went viral was taken from the end of Paul and Micah's wedding in episode 12. During the episode Paul said no to marrying Micah, because even though he said loved Micah, he felt the timing wasn't right for them to commit to each other. Micah appeared visibly upset and said she "never felt safe" in the relationship.
Micah left the wedding ceremony, with Paul following closely behind. The two had a short conversation, where Paul attempted to hug Micah. However, Micah asked to be left alone and it was at this point her mum and bridesmaids entered the room. Paul agreed to leave and on his way out he appeared to bump into one of the bridesmaids.
Many fans on TikTok analysed the scene, with some zooming in and suggesting that Paul had slapped one of Micah's bridesmaids on the butt. However, it was unclear exactly what happened as Micah's mum was in front of the group and so blocked a clear view of the moment.
And during the live Love Is Blind reunion Paul was asked by host Vanessa Lachey about the scene. Paul called the rumours "absurd" and explained he was gesturing to the woman that he was trying to get past.
Paul said: "To imply that it was anything more than me just gesturing acknowledging that I was squeezing past her kind of bumped into her shoulder is literally absurd.
“I literally just [was] walking out of the door and gesturing just like, hey, sorry, I bumped into you.”
So that settles that then!
During the reunion Paul and Micah revealed they dated briefly after their wedding day whilst Micah was still living in Seattle before moving back to Arizona.
Paul then said he went to visit Micah in Arizona, but the relationship ended shortly after that.
Here's hoping both Micah and Paul are doing OK after their break up.
