Meeting a partner's friends and family for the first time can be a pretty nerve-wracking experience, but for the cast of Netflix's Love Is Blind it usually appears to be down right awkward. Well, they are meeting their future in-laws in front of an entire camera crew, after-all.

In the most recent episodes of Love Is Blind season three, the couples all meet their partner's friends and family. And for the majority of them it went pretty well. Raven ate Nigerian food with SK and his family, and Colleen had a bonding conversation with Matt's mum at a family dinner.

However, one couple who Love Is Blind viewers think didn't have the greatest first meeting with their families was Bartise Bowden and Nancy Rodriguez.

During the episode Nancy took Bartise home to meet her brothers and dad. Her brothers Steve and Jesus took Bartise outside to have a conversation with him about his relationship with Nancy. In the conversation Steve said Bartise's explanation of why he loved Nancy was "bland". Ouch.

Following Bartise's first meeting with Nancy's dad and brothers, Love Is Blind viewers all seem to think Nancy's brothers were very unimpressed with Bartise and were all seeming to love their reaction to meeting Bartise.

One person tweeted: "I love how unimpressed Nancy’s brothers are with Bartise. This man’s ego needs to brought down several notches."

And another said: "I’m absolutely obsessed with the side eye Nancy’s brother is giving Bartiste during this train wreck of a conversation."

Another person put it: "Every Love Is Blind contestant — current and future seasons — should have to meet Nancy’s brothers."

Bartise didn't seem too concerned over the comments from the brothers and said he understood they were being protective of their sister. Jesus went onto said he was looking forward to getting to know Bartise more.

Let's hope there's no more awkward family conversations going forward.

Love Is Blind season three is available on Netflix now.
