"A Love So Beautiful" to get a Korean remake

10 Jul – It was reported that the hit Chinese drama, "A Love So Beautiful" is getting a Korean remake.

As reported on Sina, the Chinese series which previously landed on Netflix and received much love by South Korean fans, reportedly will have a Korean adaptation starring So Ju-yeon and Kim Yo-han, to be produced by Kakao M.

When asked about the reports, So's agency confirmed that the actress has received the casting invitation and is now considering the offer.

The original drama was aired in 2017 and starred rookie actors Hu Yitian and Shen Yue as two childhood friend who grew up as neighbours.

It is reported that the Korean version will be about 20 minutes per episode instead of following the 45-minute duration of the original.

The specific line-up and shooting time have not yet been finalised.
