Louise delos Reyes unfazed with lack of lead roles
16 Mar - It has been two years since Louise delos Reyes played a lead role in a GMA drama, but the actress said that she is not worried with the lack of main characters coming her way.
As reported on PEP News, the 22-year-old star, who last played the lead in fantasy series "Kambal Sirena", stated that she was grateful enough to be given the opportunity to showcase her talent in acting on episodic shows even if they're not as popular as soaps.
The actress also added that she has been doing a lot of things in her free time, including blogging and managing her restaurant, North Wing in Maginhawa, a joint-venture with fellow Kapuso, Arianne Bautista.
When asked if she isn't worried about being left out, delos Reyes responded, "I believe that every artiste has their time. Let the others shine. I am patiently waiting for everything to happen. I hold no grudges about not being in in the limelight."
As to whether her involvement in the breakup between "Kambal Sirena" co-star Aljur Abrenica and his then girlfriend Kylie Padilla has marred her reputation and cost her any leading roles, the actress smiled and replied, "I don't see it that way. Maybe everything was just a coincidence."
